The Polk County, TN Chamber of Commerce is hosting the Sugarloaf Arts & Crafts *Bizarre!*…not your ordinary craft festival on Saturday August 23rd from 11 am until 4 pm. The event will be held at Sugarloaf Mountain Park near Parksville Dam (Ocoee #1) located on Highway 64 in Benton.
The festival will showcase local artists and their various works; from the ordinary to the truly unique and “bizarre.” Metal sculptures, wood crafts, hand-poured candles, glass works, jewelry, handcrafted soaps, photography, pencil sketches and paintings are just some of the items that will be available for show and purchase. Come on out and support our local artists- you are sure to find a “must-have” piece.
Food vendors will also be selling various concessions, so you can enjoy lunch along the banks of the Ocoee River. There are no entry/parking fees, so stop in, visit the artists and make some friends.
If you would like to set up a booth to showcase your talents, please contact Adrian Lambert at the Polk County Chamber of Commerce at (423)338-5040 or stop by the Welcome Center at 1697 Highway 64. There is no charge for booth space; however you must provide your own table/canopy.
