PUBLIC NOTICE

It is the duty of your Grand Jurors to investigate any public offense which they know or have reason to believe has been committed and which is triable or indictable in this county. Any person having knowledge or proof that such an offense has been committed may apply to testify before the Grand Jury subject to the provisions of TCA, Section 40-12-104.
The Grand Jury will next meet at the Polk County Justice Center on Monday, the 5th day of May, 2014 at 1 p.m. and at the Ducktown Courthouse on the 5th day of May, 2014 at 9:00 A.M. You may be prosecuted for perjury for any oral or written statement which you make under oath to the Grand Jury, when you know the statement to be false, and when the statement touches on a matter material to the point in question.
The foreman for the Benton area is David Milen, and the foreman for the Ducktown area is Roger Thomasson.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Bradley County, as administrator of the 10th Judicial Adult Drug Court, which includes Bradley, McMinn, Monroe, and Polk Counties, is accepting sealed proposals for providing treatment services from qualified professional licensed individuals with experience in providing comprehensive outpatient treatment services to drug dependent non-violent offenders in the criminal justice system. Proposals must be submitted to the Bradley County Mayor’s office, Bradley County Courthouse Annex Building, 155 Broad Street, Cleveland, TN 37311 in a sealed envelop clearly marked “RFP-Drug Court Treatment Services” no later than 4:30 p.m. April 11, 2014. Late proposals will not be accepted.
The successful proposer will be required to provide proof of general liability insurance of $1,000,000/$3,000,000 aggregate.
Questions or requests for additional information should be submitted by email to Jill Barrett at jilbrrtt@aol.com. Any addenda issued providing additional information will be posted on the county website at www.bradleyco.net.
The successful proposer shall be required to indemnify and hold harmless Bradley County and the 10th Judicial District Adult Drug Court and its agents, servants, and employees from all claims, actions, lawsuits, damages, judgements, or liabilities arising out of the treatment services provided.
Proposals shuld include a dollar amount per participant for each group session and individual session outlined in the Phases of the RFP. A full list of all proposal requirements is available upon request in the Mayor’s office.
