SAFE HAVEN ANIMAL Rescue Program (SHARP) will hold its monthly public meeting on Thursday, Sept 26 6:30 pm at the Chamber of Commerce office at 1697 Highway 64 (Next to Ocoee Express).  Come find out how you can help homeless dogs of Polk County!
DEMOCRAT RALLY The Polk County Democrat Party will have a rally at the Ducktown Community Center Friday, September 27 at 6 p.m. Please join us for food and fellowship!
PAINT POLK PINK Polk County’s first annual 5K fun run and 1 mile walk, October 12, 9 a.m. at the Polk County fairgrounds. Sponsored by West Polk Fire & Rescue, hosted by Polk County. All proceeds to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Pre-register: $25 mile walk; $35 5k. Day of event: $30 mile walk, $40 5k. Registration includes T-shirt. LET’S MOVE DAY — A fun day for kids ages 4-14, will be held at the Polk County Fairgrounds on September 22 from 2-4pm.  Many fun activities have been planned that will get kids moving toward an active lifestyle for a healthy life.  This event is free!  There will be an obstacle course, ball games, exercise, healthy snacks, giveaways, and much more.  Kids must be accompanied by adult.
