Mrs. Deloris "Sue" Thrift, age 78 of McCaysville formerly of Fernandina Beach Fla , passed away December 2, 2012 at the Gilmer Nursing Home. Mrs. Thrift was born January 2, 1934 in Ware  Co., GA to the late Floyd & Maggie Lou Smith Thrift. she was preceded in death by her husband James E. Thrift, son Frank T. Mizell, sister Joyce Lovell, brother, Edward Buck Thrift.

Survivors include: daughter, Wanda  Howell, daughter, Florence Smiley, son Joe Mizell, step daughter, Vicki Coggins, step daughter, Toni De Marchi, step son, Larry Morgan, brother, Richard Thrift, brother, Joe Thrift, sister, Lois Gordon, 6 grandchildren, and 9 great grand children.

There will be a memorial service in Fernandina Beach Fla at a later date.
