Blake Carver, son of Dean and Debbie Carver, of Benton, on Friday, Nov. 23,
2012.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Max and Joyce
Culpepper and Monreda and the late Yale Webb.
A 2006 graduate of Polk County High School, she earned
her bachelor’s degree in child and family studies in 2010 and her master’s
degree in early childhood education in 2011, both at the University of
Tennessee at Knoxville. She is employed as a second grade teacher at Etowah
City school.
The prospective groom is the grandson of the late
James N. and Thelma Woody and Harold and Mary Carver.
A 2004 graduate of Cleveland High School, he earned
his bachelor’s degree from Auburn University in 2009. He plans to graduate in
May 2013 from the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy. He is employed
with Walgreen’s Pharmacy in Soddy Daisy.
The 6 p.m. ceremony will be held in the chapel of
Whitestone Country Inn with the Rev. Ed Earl officiating. A reception will
follow at Whitestone Lion and Lamb.
