As most of you know, my husband (Joe Price) had surgery a couple of weeks ago and is doing really well in his recovery.
Thank you,
As most of you know,
my husband (Joe Price) had surgery a couple of weeks ago and is doing really
well in his recovery.
Joe was sent straight
to the emergency room after having an MRI and then had surgery a couple of days
later. Our world, as we knew it, was turned up-side-down. Immediately everyone
started praying. We felt your prayers. The doctor told us Joe made brain
surgery look so easy that everyone is going to want to have it. I seriously
doubt that but…it was good to hear. The physical therapist came to help Joe
walk and assess his stability after surgery…but he had no trouble, his balance
was fine and no trouble walking. AND…Joe’s memory is good; he still knows his
multiplication tables. He would lie in his hospital bed and recite his
multiplication tables; I guess this provided the reassurance he needed to know
his mind was intact. I feel the reason my husband is doing as well as he is, is
result of your prayer and for this I will forever be grateful. God is so good
and He answered your prayers.
Thank you also for
praying for our daughters’ and our family’s traveling safety. I stayed with Joe
at the hospital but they drove back and forth between home and the hospital.
Thank you for the many
phone calls, visits, cards, and care packages. Your love and concern for my
husband (and for me) was appreciated so much and I will not forget it.
Thank you to the gentleman
that paid for the gas in our daughter’s vehicle. We do not know who you are,
but please know your kindness touched our heart.
Thank you, Roy Raines,
for fixing our daughter’s flat tire. You are so nice to my family and we value
your friendship.
Thank you, Will at
Action Video. You just opened your store to us and allowed Joe as many movies
as he wanted to watch when he first came home.
The words “thank you”
does not feel big enough to express what is in my heart and I will never be
able to repay each individual person for all you have done for us. Just know I
will pay it forward…I can do that.
