NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Pursuant to T.C.A. 6-58-104(a)(3), the Polk County Coordinating Committee will hold a public hearing on September 13, 2012 at 5:30 p.m. in the Ducktown City Hall located at 340 Main Street, Ducktown, TN.  A subsequent public hearing and meeting of the Coordinating Committee will be held on September 18, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. in the Benton City Hall located at 6496 Highway 411, Benton, TN.  The purposes of the hearings are to receive and consider public input and comments on an amendment to the Polk County Growth Plan specifically an amendment to Ducktown’s Urban Growth Boundary.  A copy of the proposed amendment is available for public viewing at each location. 

All interested parties are encouraged to attend.
