The Town of Benton intends to file an application for financial assistance with USDA / Rural Development for a water source development project.  Major elements of the proposed project are developing an additional water source for the Town of Benton’s water system.
A Public Information Meeting for all interested parties will be held as follows:
February 6, 2012
5:00pm
Benton Municipal Bldg.
The purpose of this meeting will be to give the public an opportunity to become acquainted with the proposed project and to comment on the economic and environmental impacts, service area, alternatives, and other issues.  Representatives of the Town of Benton will be available to explain the proposal and answer any questions.
