There are many activities I enjoy doing on a day to day basis.The ones I enjoy don’t involve being
under the influence of alcohol and drugs, such as summer sports, spending time
with family and friends, and things that put my mind at ease.
One activity I really enjoy is summer sports.I love shooting basketball; it’s one of my favorite summer
sports ever.I especially love
going out behind my house on a 90 degree day and shooting hoops.Shooting hoops always gives me the rush
in my body I love.Softball is
another activity I enjoy doing.I
especially love going to the park by my aunt’s house to toss a little ball in
the open field and feel the heat rays against my skin. This shows you can have
a good time without drugs or alcohol to slow you down.I also love swimming during summer.There is nothing better than going for
a dip in the cool soothing water on a hot humid day—not even drugs, alcohol, or
partying on weekends.
Another thing I really enjoy is spending time with my family and
friends.Going to Florida with my
family is the most amazing time all year.My family and I always have a blast jamming to the radio and talking
about the upcoming events on the way there.Heading off to the movies with some of my best friends, is
also very fun.With no alcohol or
drugs to slow us down, we have the best time meeting new people anywhere we
go.Family get-togethers are also
a huge favorite of mine.Every
year on Christmas all my family joins together at my Grandma’s house to see the
newest babies in the family and to catch up on old times.
A final thing I love to do that doesn’t involve alcohol or drugs is
things that ease my mind.Going
for a long walk really gives me a great time to think.I can stroll downtown to the lake
beside the market and walk along the sidewalk and think about how great life is
without alcohol and drugs and just enjoy little things in life.Reading a good book can also be just as
fun.I love sitting in my room
with complete silence and imagining I’m the main character in the book.Cleaning house is also something I like
doing.When I’m in a bad mood I
can always organize my room and just knowing I’m in a clean environment puts me
at ease.
Enjoy life without drugs and alcohol because without that you have a
whole world to explore and nothing to hold you back.
