On June 11, 2010, District Ranger Monte Williams decided to implement wildlife, transportation, and vegetation management activities in the Greasy Creek Environmental Assessment (EA).  The EA and associated Decision Notice and Finding of No Significant Impact are available upon request from the Ocoee/Hiwassee Ranger District and at http://www.fs.fed.us/r8/cherokee/planning/2010/ea10.shtml.  For further information regarding this project, contact District Ranger Monte Williams at (423) 338-3300.

This decision is subject to appeal pursuant to 36 CFR 215.11.  Appeals must meet content requirements of 36 CFR 215.14.

Written appeals, including attachments, shall be sent to: Cherokee National Forest, ATTN: Appeals, 2800 N. Ocoee St., Cleveland, TN 37312, within 45 days beginning the day after publication of this legal notice.  Appeals may be faxed to (423) 339-8650.  Hand-delivered appeals must be received at 2800 N.
