West Polk Fire & Rescue has come up with a unique fundraiser – bids for two concert tickets to see The Drifters. The concert, scheduled for Dec. 5, 8 p.m. at Memorial Auditorium in Chattanooga, features The Original Drifters with The Tams. The tickets were donated by Mr. And Mrs. Rodney Eaves. Bids for the two general admission seats must start at $100.

Bids may be sent c/o The Polk County News, P.O. Box 129, Benton TN 37307 or dropped off at the Polk County News office in Benton. Be sure to include your name, address and phone number, along with your bid amount. Label the envelope “Concert Auction.”

The bids will be open on Dec. 1 and winners will be notified immediately. In the event of a tie, the bid that arrived earliest will be the winner.

The proceeds will benefit West Polk Fire & Rescue.
