Christmas Parade – Mark your calendar for Saturday, December 13 for this year’s annual Christmas parade in Benton.  The parade begins at 1 p.m. and the theme is “Home for the Holidays”.  We need you to volunteer so please contact Adrian at 338-5040 to let her know you can help.   If you are interested in participating in the parade also contact Adrian for details.

11th Annual Festival of Trees – During the month of December the Chamber will be among many to display a Christmas tree at the Ocoee Whitewater Center in Copperhill that visitors can view and also have the opportunity to vote for their favorite tree.  The Chamber tree is decorated with ornaments donated by Chamber members.  With your business name on the ornament this provides an excellent opportunity to spotlight your business to the thousands of visitors who come through the Center during this holiday time.  Help us fill our tree with ornaments.  If you would like to donate an ornament please contact Adrian at 338-5040 before November 28, 2008.

Membership Coffee - If you would like to host a “Membership Coffee” or “Business After Hours”, please contact the Chamber office nearest you and we will have our “Special Events” committee contact you.  They will be happy to help you get it organized and advertised.

The Chamber’s next Board meeting will be held on Monday, December 15, 2008 at 12 p.m. at The Ocoee Whitewater Center, Highway 64, Copperhill, TN.

Happy Thanksgiving!
