In keeping with a Halloween tradition, employees at The Drug Store in Benton dressed up in costumes purchased by pharmacist Jerry Lowery on a trip, this time to Africa on a trek to see gorillas near the gravesite of Diane Fossey. Lowery, Cathy Ledford and Donna Hall wear costumes purchased from native dancers in Rwanda’s National Volcano Park. Patsy Cheek wears native hand-woven dress from Lalabala, Ethiopia, purchased while Lowery was visiting the rock-hewn churches. He also visited Adisababa and Axum, noted as the home of the Ark of the Covenant.
