Greenback had not been scored on all season, so the Cricket offense should be commended.
The Polk County Bobcat Crickets lost 42-14 to Greenback on Saturday. The first half was close with Polk only trailing 22-14, but the talent of Greenback allowed them to pull away in the second half. Greenback had not been scored on all season, so the Cricket offense should be commended.
The offense was once again led by Kyle Dunn who had 254 yards rushing and two touchdowns. Conner barks had 10 yards rushing and scored a 2-point conversion. Nate Waters had 12 yards on the ground.
Dunn led the defense with nine tackles. Sean Brock had 4 tackles, Conner Barks and Eli Cross had three tackles, John Morgan, Logan Whiteside and Waters had two tackles each. Tyler Rogers and Kanon Primetime Hall had one tackle each. Polk travels to Loudon this weekend for a rematch with the little Indians.
