Each month from the day a child is born until his/her fifth birthday, a carefully selected book arrives at the mailbox. Kids across the country have shared the excitement of running to the mailbox to retrieve their book. More often than not , the child wants the book read to them now --  not later, not tonight, and not tomorrow. Right Now! Parents only have to do two things to register children for a free book until they’re five. You must live in Polk County and read the books to them when they ask. Copper Basin FCCLA, with the help of Jan Lycans and the Friends of the Polk County Library, will be at the local football games. Please sign your child up soon.
