Grace Frances Loudermilk, age 69, of Turtletown, TN, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2008 in the Erlanger Medical Center. Grace was born in Union County, Georgia and was a member of the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by parents, Milton and Azalee Dillard Satterfield, husband, Edward “Doc” Loudermilk, son, Randall Loudermilk, sisters, Grapel Verner and Vera LaFevers, and brothers, Wayne Satterfield and B.N.King.

She is survived by daughter, Judy Platt of Blue Ridge, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Paul and wife Rita  Satterfield of Clawson, MI; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and husband James Harris of Copperhill, TN; Grandchildren, Zachary Talley & girlfriend Sarah Key; Haley and husband Daniel Loudermilk; several nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, August 25th at 8:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Doug Howard officiating.  Interment followed Tuesday, August 26th at 11:00 a.m. from the Mt.Vernon Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Doug Howard officiating. Memorial Contributions in memory of Mrs. Loudermilk may be made to the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church c/o Kaye Loudermilk, 1780 Donley Road, Murphy, NC28906. Akins Funeral Home of Copperhill in charge of the arrangements.
