Christine Bryson Trotter, age 52, of Riceville, passed away Friday night, August 22, 2008 at Erlanger Medical Center. She was a native of McMinn County and a former resident of Polk County. She was a daughter of the late John F. Bryson and Willie Mae Stewart. She was a member of the Delano Baptist Church. She was a 30 year employer of Bowater Southern Paper Corp. She was preceded in death by her father; husband, Billy Trotter; grandmother, Ola Mae Sitzler; brother, John William Bryson.
She is survived by 2 sons and daughter-in-law: Kyle and Samantha Trotter of Athens, Kolten Trotter of Athens; Mother, Willie Mae Bryson of Athens; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Paul and Betty Miller of Etowah; 2 sisters and brother-in-law: Cynthia Bohannon of Athens, Carolyn and Terry Finnel of Cleveland; 1 brother, Ricky Bryson of Etowah; special friend of 6 years: Terry Borden; Several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held August 25, in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Dr. Harold Curtis and Jeff Bentley officiating. Burial was at Goodsprings Cemetery at 9:00 a.m. August 26. Bordwine Funeral Home of Etowah was in charge of arrangements.
