Mr. James Hayden Millholland, 80, of Dalton, GA passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2008.  Born in Fannin County, GA he was the son of the late Sherman and Arvie Millholland Galloway.  He was of the Baptist Faith and a Veteran of the Korean War serving in the United States Army.

Survivors include his wife Virginia Millholland of Dalton, GA, son, Hayden Lee Millholland of Dalton, GA; daughters, Karen Pendergrass of Pendergrass, GA, Kathy Shanaver of Wauchula, FL, Beverly Robinson of Romeo, MI and Katie Abercrombie of Winchester, TN, brother, Johnny Millholland of Copperhill, TN; sister, Margie Henson of Old Fort, TN; eleven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel of Blue Ridge, GA with Rev. David Stanley and Rev. Donald Cantrell officiating.  Pallbearers were Todd Pack, Travis Huffman, Brian Jones, Ken Higdon, Bill Higdon and Allen Henson.  Interment followed in the Copper Ridge Memory Gardens with full military honors provided by the North Georgia Honor Guard.  Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, GA was in charge of the arrangements.
