The Museum Center at 5ive Points will host a Children’s camp basket making workshop on Saturday, June 28th from 10:00 – noon. The workshop will be lead by expert basket maker Joyce Lantz and her teaching assistants in this class for children ages 9-12. The design of the basket and the materials are simple for children to use and will result in a basket for them to take home. This class is a great way for children to learn to grow in their skills and have exposure to new things.
Reservations must be made by Monday, June 23rd for this fun and creative children’s offering. The cost for children of members is $13 and for children of non-members is $15. You can make a reservation by either coming by the museum during open hours Tuesday – Friday, 10:00 – 5:00, Saturday 10:00 – 3:00 or by calling 339-5745 and making your reservation by credit card.
