The Little Angel
By Alma Smith
Grade 1
There once was a little Angel in named Jessie. All her brothers and sisters could d things that she couldn’t do. Jessie went home t her bed and cried. Her sister Jessica came in and said, “What is wrong?” and Jessie said “All of my brothers and sisters can do really cool things and I can’t do anything cool.”
So Jessica said you can d something cool. You just have to find it. At dinner their mother said, “Why were you crying Jessie?” Jessie told her why she was crying. Their mother said, “You have a special talent, you just have to find it.” That night Jessie couldn’t sleep.
She thought abut what her mother said. The next morning she asked her mother “what is my special talent?” her mother said “I don’t know, you have to find it.” Jessie said, “How do I do that?”
Before mother could answer it was time for flying lessons. After flying lessons, Jessie said, “I figured out what my special talent is.”
Everyone asked what it was and Jessie said “Flying!” “J.J. and Jessica cannot fly very well. God said I am the best flyer in the class!”
