The Leadership Polk Class of 2008 held their graduation dinner on May 6 at the Benton Municipal Building. Dr. Carl Hite, Cleveland State Community College President, was the guest speaker. Members completed 40 hours of class instruction in the areas of State and Local Government, Agriculture, Health Care, Manufacturing, Education, Tourism and Economic Development. Kim Harpe, Southeast Tennessee Development District, facilitated the 10-month class.
